Advised major entertainment company concerning right of publicity and Lanham Act issues in connection with the exploitation of film rights.

Commercial Litigation

Breach of Contract Action

Defending a book publisher in a breach of contract litigation involving a best-selling novel. Supervised discovery and participated in summary judgment preparation related to accounting issues including profit-sharing arrangements and royalty payments.

Trade Secrets Litigation

Represented online content provider in a misappropriation of trade secrets action. Drafted opposition to motion to dismiss and participated in pretrial preparation.

Sherman Antitrust Act Litigation

Served on the litigation team that secured a $1.25 billion settlement for a high tech company in its monopolization lawsuit against a competitor.

Pro Bono Litigation

Facilitated several pro bono family adoptions

Worked with Connecticut Office of Disciplinary Counsel to prosecute lawyer misconduct on behalf of aggrieved prisoners
